OUR STORY
In 2024, we were born from the shared dream of a group of professionals—mostly women—coming from art, fashion, education, media, sports, business, and civil society. The name of our association is also its philosophy: a word written “wrong” according to grammar rules, yet exactly as it should be for us— birarada/ together. We believe that being together requires unity, and that real change lies beyond convention.
Our headquartes is in Şanlıurfa, yet our heart beats across a wide geography stretching from Istanbul to the Southeast. We stand together to empower communities—especially women and children—who are left socially, economically, and culturally disadvantaged, so they may build a just life. We focus on creative industries, embrace cultural heritage, support artists, and bring craftsmanship together with design. In every project, we weave economic justice and social transformation as one.
Our uncompromising struggle against discrimination and violence is fueled by our commitment to universal human rights. Ethical values, environmental sustainability, gender equality, and solidarity are our non-negotiables. Because we believe that even the smallest change can open the door to a great transformation. OUR DIFFERENCE
We chose Şanlıurfa as our center. This allows us to bridge distances, identify needs and challenges on the ground, and create lasting, sustainable solutions based on direct observation.

dr. ASLI BİLGE
Chair of the Board
An academic and professional translator. Holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and Political Science, a master’s degree in International Relations, and a PhD in European Union Studies. Speaks French, English, Spanish, and Catalan.
EBRU KILIÇOĞLU
Vice Chair of the Board
A sports columnist and digital content specialist. Holds a bachelor’s degree in Italian Language and Literature and is currently pursuing a second degree in History. Fluent in French, English, and Italian, with intermediate proficiency in Spanish.
BANU YELKOVAN
Secretary of the Board
A sports writer, content creator, producer, broadcaster, and academic. Holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and teaches courses in sports broadcasting. Fluent in French and English, with intermediate proficiency in Italian.
SELİN SÖL
Treasurer of the Board
Holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Political Science, with a focus on Government and Politics. As the owner and director of Daire Sanat, organizes various artist programs and exhibitions. Fluent in English.
CEVHER KARA
Board Member
Owner and manager of Şanlıurfa MozArt Culture Café and Şanlıurfa Cinema Workshop. Works as a real estate consultant and organizes art and culture events in Şanlıurfa. Proficient in English.
